Historic Photograph Collection

      The photographs on display are selections from the Basil Clemson Photograph Collection, William S. Wood Jr. Photograph Collection, Texas Photograph Collection, Jack White Photograph Collection, Fielder Museum Photograph Collection, and the Fort Worth News Tribune Collection.

      Dating from 1913 to 1989, the photographs depict national events, prominent figures in the business, entertainment, politics, fashion, theatre and musical groups, sports, street scenes, exhibitions, catastrophes, private individuals, family groups, children, infants and pets. The rare and innovative photographs provide a unique record revealing the social history of towns and cities in the 1920’s and 1930’s. They also provide a visual treat for the viewers.
