Letters by Texas hero, Sam Houston; a copy of the Texas Declaration of Independence; and a rare 16th century map, are among the items on display in the current exhibition in Special Collections. The exhibition celebrates the 25th anniversary of the original gift as well as the continuing donations of long time UTA supporters, Jenkins and Virginia Garrett. Fall 1999.
