A Note to the Researcher: The grievance files consist of labor disputes, disputed
employment dismissals, safety hazards in the workplace, disputes with regards to overtime
work, and employees assigned to work out of their assigned area in conflict with the
National Union Agreement and National Wage Agreements.
The files are organized in the following format using a case as an example:
H-714 (file number), J. Chincola (name of grievant), #45009 (case
number or ticket number), request be paid monies lost for not being allowed to
work in area as originally assigned by union (reason for
grievance), 9-17-57 to 2-3-57 (dates during which
the case took place).
