- STAT!Ref is a web based collection of 86 electronic medical textbooks.
For social workers the key online book in this collection is the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual - Text Revision (DSM-IV-TR™, 2000).
Some of the other titles are: Current Diagnosis and Treatment series AHFS Drug Information;
Diseases and Disorders; Emergency Medicine; Mosby's Drug Consult;
Nursing Diagnosis Reference Manual; Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary; plus other core clinical textbooks.

On the homepage of STAT!Ref, click on the tab marked TITLES near the top left.
That should display a list of the online book titles. Look for the
Diagnostic and Statistical Manual - Text Revision (DSM-IV-TR™, 2000) on that list.
Clicking on the title will display the table of contents of the DSM.
There are a number of other electronic reference books that might be quite helpful to social workers.
Some of the other titles that might be of special interest to social workers are: the Oxford Textbook of Palliative Medicine,
the Review of General Psychiatry, and Treatments of Psychiatric Disorders.
