Employee Recognition Awards Committee Minutes, December 4, 1992All members of the Awards Committee met to consider nominations for the Bright Ideas Award. Treva Lyday in ACD was chosen to be the first recipient of the Bright Ideas Award. The format of the award display for the lobby was discussed. Kit Goodwin in Special Collections has volunteered to prepare the display for each recipient. An unframed, matted picture of the recipient with his/her name and department and the name and purpose of the award was chosen to be placed on an easel by the Information Desk for one month. Dendra Alford provided information on obtaining photographs on campus and will assist each recipient with obtaining an 8"x10" picture through Media Services. Jim Wellvang will write the Newsletter articles. The chair will notify recipients immediately and ensure that the letters of commendation are placed in their personnel files. September 14, 1993
