Employee Recogntion Committee Minutes, Oct. 5, 1995

All members present except Bobbie and Shirley.

We voted on two awards this meeting. Ruthie Brock will receive an Applause Award for her work with the Arlington Public Library (nominated by Tommie Wingfield). And a T.E.A.M.S. Award to the July 4th Float Folks (nominated by Rachel Robbins). The Float Folks are: Mary Dabney Wilson, Ramona Holmes, Constance Courage, Donna Solomon, Tom Lindsey, Dendra Alford, Jane O'Riley, Tommie Wingfield, Jean Clower, Jane Thompson, Kit Goodwin, Chandler and Jill Jackson, Carmela Baty and Carleen Dolan. The recommendations need to be made to Tom. I'll arrange for the picture taking sessions after Tom has announced the awards to the winners.

We discussed pushing our meeting time forward to 11:00 and that seems to be OK with those of us present. We can discuss further at next meeting. We agreed to change our July meeting from July 4th (holiday) to July 11th. That was the only month that conflicted with the 1st Thursday of the month date. Meeting was short but active.
