Minutes Employee Recognition Committee Meeting Tuesday, February 4, 1997

Present: Noel Anderson, Patty Grubaugh, Shirley Rodnitzky, Iris Carroll, Shirley Sheets, Laura Blessing. Absent: Jane Thompson.

The Committee convened at 10 a.m. in the administrative conference room. Shirley Rodnitzky indicated that she had received additional letters in support of our STAR Award nominees. A brief discussion followed concerning how many letters of support were needed. The guidelines state that three are needed but Shirley Sheets indicated that two had sufficed in the past.

Shirley Rodnitzky reported that she had written the newsletter article announcing the awards that were given in January; she then stated that the awardees were having their pictures taken.

We discussed a T.E.A.M.S. Award nomination that was unanimously approved. Patty Grubaugh will draft the award letter for Tom Wilding.

We briefly discussed an Applause Award nomination but needed to table that discussion until further communication could be made with the nominator.

The meeting adjourned at approximately 10:45 a.m. The next meeting will be March 4, 10 a.m.
