Minutes Employee Recognition Committee Meeting Tuesday, May 6, 1997Present: Patty Grubaugh, Shirley Rodnitzky, Iris Carroll, Jane Thompson, Noel Anderson, and Laura Blessing. The Committee convened at 10:00 am in room 517. Shirley reported that she had submitted the story to the library newsletter for the STAR award and spring reception. Shirley indicated that we should write letters to those people who had been nominated specifically for the STAR award. Shirley has done this for this year and has forwarded them to Tom Wilding. Shirley also announced that Carleen Dolan is working on the engraving for the STAR award plaque. We discussed an Applause Award nomination that was unanimously approved. Jane Thompson will draft the Applause Award letter for Tom Wilding to present at the June staff meeting, which will be held June 21, 1997.
