Minutes Employee Recognition Committee Meeting Tuesday, August 19, 1997Present: Noel Anderson, Iris Carroll, Jane Thompson, Patty Grubaugh, and Laura Blessing. The Committee convened at 10:00 am in the Admin. Conference Room. We discussed an Applause Award nomination that was unanimously approved. Noel Anderson will draft the Applause Award letter for Tom Wilding to present at the October staff meeting. This was our last meeting for this year. Three members will be stepping down. Laura Blessing has sent out a call for volunteers; she has received two responses. We decided that she should resend her message to try to draw in more volunteers. If this does not work we may contact individuals and ask them if they would like to sit on this committee. Laura Blessing will organize our first meeting in September. At that time we will plan further activities for the new academic year. The meeting adjourned at approximately 10:20 am Respectfully submitted, Iris B. Carroll. |
