Minutes Employee Recognition Committee December 2, 1997

Present: Anderson, Carroll, Dessalegn, Jappah, Jones, Blessing; Wilding by invitation.

Wilding was invited to attend the meeting to join in the committee’s discussion of the scope and guidelines for the current Libraries awards. The result of this discussion was no changes to the current guidelines, but a better understanding on the committee’s part.

Following the general discussion, and after Wilding’s departure, the committee continued discussion of the tabled awards nominations from the November meeting. Of those three tabled nominations, one has been re-nominated for a different award, another Jappah will get more information on, and the third was approved unanimously. Carroll will prepare the letter to Wilding on behalf of the awardee.

A brief discussion of award displays followed. Anderson will follow up with the photographer for those displays.

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 12 noon.
