EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION COMMITTEE Tuesday, April 7, 1998

Attending: Anderson, Blessing, Carroll, Jones

Carroll will put out a call for nominations for the Outstanding Student Award. Nominations will be taken through 5pm Monday April 20th.

The Applause/TEAMS Award nomination that had been tabled several times was discussed. Blessing had received additional information regarding the nomination. From a discussion of this additional information, the committee decided not to approve the nomination.

The committee discussed the STAR Award and its nominees at length. We decided to postpone voting on the awardee until the next meeting, to allow Dessalegn to participate and to allow additional thought concerning the choice of awardee.

The committee’s next meeting will be Tuesday April 21st, 11:30 am, Administrative Conference Room.

Jones will inform Dessalegn of the additional meeting date and the present meeting’s discussion.

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 11:45am.
