EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION COMMITTEE MEETING December 7, 1998

Jones called the meeting to order at 3:05 pm

A previous Applause nomination was approved after receiving more feedback from nominee’s Division Head.

Blessing asked for discussion of Employee Recognition Exhibit Display on first floor adjacent to the stairwell. She received positive comments, especially for placing the exhibit case in a more prominent position. Blessing will recruit Goodwin’s Special Collection’s exhibit assistant, Chen, for future further assistance in mounting award displays. The Committee is considering use of the Copy Center for enlargement of text displays and customization of the blurb explaining the reason for the award.

The Committee discussed four awards, three Applause and one Team’s Award. The Team’s Award was placed on hold until more feedback was received from the Department Head.

The Committeee will not meet on January 4, unless the feedback on the Team’s Award is received by then.
