EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION COMMITTEE MEETING January 14, 2003

ATTENDING: Rachel Robbins, Anne Mitchell and Linda Depken
ABSENT: Loretta Barker, Tanya Lipscomb and Sarah Jones

MEETING TIME: We are going to have to find a new meeting time since our present time conflicts with Rachel’s class schedule. The options of Wednesday or Monday after 3:00 will be presented to committee members via e-mail so a new time can be determined.

AWARDS REVIEWED:

• One TEAM and one Applause nomination passed. Rachel will work on the Applause letter and Anne will work on the TEAM letter for Tom. These letters should be completed by February 1st.
• We decided to continue holding on the Applause nomination that carried over from the last meeting, pending further information. We wish to see the impact of something that was done before we approve it. The nominator will be informed of the further delay.
• One Applause nomination was subsumed by the TEAM nomination that was passed. The nominator will be informed of this change.

STAR AWARD: We have already received 2 nominations for this award. We will not review these until we get past our deadline.

FOLLOW UPS: Kit, Antoinette and Peter Zhang have agreed to have their pictures taken for the awards. Kit is redoing the awards display since it was falling. It will be placed in the stairwell on the first floor.
