Intranet Steering Group Minutes, April 5, 2005

In attendance: Evelyn Barker, Loretta Barker, Suzanne Beckett, Ramona Holmes (recorder), Brian Moffitt, Gerald Saxon (Chair)

1. Review of Survey Subgroup work:

Saxon reviewed draft of items to be included in the survey from Survey subgroup. Survey will go to staff for ranking of the following topics:

Administrative (this may need a new label in the future)
• Policies/Procedures
• Forms
• Community - People/Staff Forum/Staff Development/Training
• Human Resources
• Committee/Groups
• Program Areas
• Calendar
• Instant Messaging
• Shared Tools
• News
• Technology

Action: Survey will request the individual rank in importance the categories. Also, a comments box will be added. Survey will dispersed within the next two weeks. Saxon will send Beckett information for addition to survey.

2. Review of Q Drive Subgroup work:

Holmes reviewed the database file of the Q. There are 38,500 folders & files on the Q:/MIS.
 
Action: Recommendation due in two weeks for the first set of cleaning the Q.
