To the Library Staff:

At the Jan. 13 meeting, the Library Management Team created an Intranet Steering Group to help guide the process of developing the UTA Libraries’ staff intranet. I am attaching to this email the charge to the group and the names of the individuals who will be serving on it. The group will have its first meeting early next week. As many of you know, one of this year’s action plans is to develop an effective staff intranet. This will be the first step to doing this.

Either I or someone on the group will keep you apprised as to the deliberations once they begin. We will also be involving the staff in helping determine the type of intranet we want.
