Outcome
Customers will be more satisfied with our ability to provide access to the information they need to be successful.

Strategies:

1. Maximize budget by seeking new consortia and cooperative partnerships.
2. Expand commercial and in-house document delivery services.

Action Plans:

1. Open ingenta access to graduate students

Outcome:

1. Graduate students will have unmediated access to the resources they need
2. ILL will decrease
3. End user will have greater satisfaction

Output:

1. Conduct a survey to measure user satisfaction
2. Number of ingenta users and requests will increase
3. There will be a decrease in the number of ILL requests

Inputs:

1. Define to whom the service will be offered
2. Need to know available money for the service
3. How are you going to publicize the service

(Suppliers) Where will the information come from:

1. IS, web page, Tommie, and Maggie will assist with the publicity
2. Tom will provide the budget figures
3. The coordinators will determine the scope of the users

Develop a collection management program.
Build partnerships with commercial entities to provide a more reliable and effective access to electronic resources (search interface – “Is More Always Better”).
Assess effectiveness of existing resources to improve user satisfaction.
Seek additional opportunities for commercial archiving products (databases) and renegotiate existing licenses for archival rights when appropriate.
Buy every book and journal published since the beginning of time (Ex. RosettaStone).
