Strategy Development

 

 

1.  Build a collection of resources befitting a premier research university.

Outcome: Customers will be more satisfied with our ability to provide access to the Information they need to be successful.

Develop and maintain a diverse offering of information resources that are relevant to the University’s present and future research and teaching needs through a program of continuous evaluation.

 

Identify and develop new partnerships, consortia or resource-sharing agreements that supplement the resources available to our primary users and that maximize the information resources budget.

 

Provide information delivery to a wider audience through non-mediated, commercial and in-house services and explore new sources of non-mediated, commercial document delivery.    

 

Identify and purchase digital archival products and re-negotiate licenses for archival rights when possible.

 

Expand and sustain a rich and diverse array of information resources that are relevant to the University’s present and future research and teaching needs.
