Online Seminars and Conferences

Online Seminars:

ACRL E-learning - ACRL e-Learning Webcasts explore issues at the forefront of librarianship today. Webcasts of preconference and conference programs include streaming media (video or audio), synchronized with PowerPoint slide presentations. Bibliographies and discussion questions are also provided.

The TLT Group, Teaching, Learning and Technology - The TLT Group's mission is to motivate and enable institutions and individuals to improve teaching and learning with technology, while helping them cope with continual change.

2007 Click U Live!  formerly known as SLA Virtual Seminar Series - The seminars which use web-based visuals and audio conferencing are a great way to learn without leaving the workplace. Seminars are typically held from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm ET.

EDUCAUSE Live is a free, monthly, hour-long interactive Web seminar on critical information technology topics in higher education. Each seminar is delivered live using online audio and video/image presentation technology, allowing you to interact directly with the host and guests through your Web browser.   Because enrollment in each live seminar is limited, register early. If a seminar is filled, or if another time would be more convenient, you can access the recorded session from this page after the live date. Please see the Events page for a complete list of EDUCAUSE Live! events.

Learning @ Amigos.Org - is a comprehensive training program developed to provide Amigos members convenient, timely and affordable learning opportunities.  The program is focused on two major web-based learning formats: live online learning and self-paced learning.  For information on registration and on-request policies and fees, contact the Amigos Office at 800-843-8482 or 972-851-8000 in the Dallas area or email amigos@amigos.org.
