These three photos were taken inside the old group study area, before Sam's Click Internet Cafe. In the back of the top two photos is the old Interlibrary Loan area, and the windows behind the speaker (Dr. Wright) were offices. In the second photo the main stairs and what used to be office space are visible at the back of the room. The offices were removed and the coffee bar (Java City) was placed there.

Dr. Wright addresses 1998 National Library Week event in old Group Study area.

National Book Week 1998 read-a-thon in old Group Study Area. Another view of the old offices in the space that is now open (this office is situated about where the display of new books is located on the south wall). Associate Library Director Julie Alexander is reading to the group.

Once Sam's Click Internet Cafe was in, it was so popular that the space was soon expanded. This is the back wall in the first version of Sam's Cafe. The double doors entered into library offices and workspace. The wall and these doors were removed in the expansion.

Inside Sam's, phase one, new carpet was put down at least twice. The maroon wall is now gone and the cafe continues clear to back of building.
