Puzzle Pieces

Funds for projects such as the mural Puzzle Pieces, solicited for the Minority Cultures Collection (MCC), come from many sources. The Friends of the UTA Libraries contributed to this commission. The mural, the work of Mary Orozco and Lorena Tinajero, was dedicated on November 1, 2000.

No prefabricated canvases were large enough for the mural Puzzle Pieces, so Mary Orozco (left) and Lorena Tinajero built their own.
