Welcome to the Fall '05 Semester!

Did you know about?
  • Graduate Research Seminars to enhance your research needs.  They're free but registration is requested to ensure enough packets are provided.  To register go to:  http://library.uta.edu/Main/gradSeminars.uta.
For science disciplines  -- Thursday, Sept. 1st in Central Library Classroom B20 from 3-5pm

  • ResearchResearch replaces SPINplus database.
The UTA Office of Grant and Contract Services is no longer providing the SPINplus database for information on grant and funding opportunities and is no longer available from the Libraries' web listings of databases.  Instead, they are now providing ResearchResearch, a source for information on U.S. and international funding opportunities and news on research policy and politics. Opportunities can be browsed by sponsor, by discipline, type of sponsor, purpose of award, by deadline, eligibility, and so on.

  • Journal Citation Report Also known as JCR and available through Web of Knowledge.  Citation statistics (including impact factor) for journals in the sciences and social sciences.
