• Online access to The Chronicle of Higher Education is now available.  The Chronicle is the leading source of news and trends, legislation, meetings and job listings for college and university faculty and administrators.  The web site is updated daily with the latest news in academe.  It also includes The Chronicle Review and the Almanac of Higher Education. The archive of back issues goes back to September 1989.
   
• ResearchResearch:  
  Provided by the UTA Office of Grant and Contract Services, ResearchResearch is a source for information on U.S. and international funding opportunities and news on research policy and politics. Opportunities may be browsed by sponsor, discipline, type of sponsor, purpose of award, deadline, eligibility, etc.  Individual registration is recommended for indepth resources information.
   
• Journal Citation Report:  Also known as JCR and available through Web of Knowledge.  Citation statistics (including impact factor) for journals in the sciences and social sciences.

• Remember to submit book request to either Dr. Hale as the dept. library rep or me, as the library liaison.  Suggestions may be submitted in various formats, such as: marked-up printed catalogs, fliers, email notifications, and/or the online suggest-a-book-form.

• Request library instruction for classes on searching the various databases and learn about new resources and services available in the library 

• To place course materials on Reserves contact Donna Kelley, SEL Reserves Coordinator.  Please allow approximately one week for print and electronic reserve items to be processed.  This gives enough time to handle reserves so that they conform to copyright policy. You may use either the print or online course reserves form.
