• ResearchResearch replaces SPINplus database. 
  The UTA Office of Grant and Contract Services is no longer providing the SPINplus database for information on grant and funding opportunities. It has been removed from the Libraries' web listings of databases.
  
  Instead, they are now providing ResearchResearch, a source for information on U.S. and international funding opportunities and news on research policy and politics. Opportunities can be browsed by sponsor, by discipline, type of sponsor, purpose of award, by deadline, eligibility, and so on.
   
• Database Spotlight:  PubMed Central (PMC)
  A free digital archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature provided by the U.S. National Institutes of Health and the National Library of Medicine.  May be accessed from the A-Z Database list.
   
• Reference Spotlight:  Electrical Engineer’s Reference Book - TK145 .E36 2003
  The classic single-volume reference source for a wide range of practicing electrical power engineers and students, this 16th edition includes a major new section on control systems, PLCs and microprocessors.
