Circulation Corner:   The printed form of the Reserves list is now available online!!  This list shows the book materials placed on reserves either by professors or that are on permanent reserve.  The books are listed by title, call number, loan period and author.  By clicking on the title, one can find out the status of the book when away from the library.  Many thanks to a combined effort from the Circulation Staff.

Database Spotlight:  Below are two very popular engineering databases.  They only provide citation and abstract information, no direct full-text access.  To see if any of the citations found in either database are available in full-text, type the journal name or source name in PULSe, the online catalog.  

Compendex (Engineering Index)     

1970-present. Updated weekly. Comprehensive bibliographic database of engineering research literature, containing references to millions of citations from thousands of engineering journals and conferences. Includes global information for technical professionals, researchers and managers in the engineering field. To access, choose from "Select a database" drop-down list.

INSPEC     

1968-present. Updated weekly. Covers the world's scientific and technical literature in physics, electrical engineering, electronics, communications, control engineering, computers and computing, and information technology.
