UTA
Libraries Reserves Services
Do you know of library books that students will
use frequently for a course you're teaching? If so, please place them on reserve
prior to the beginning of the semester, so that all your students will have a
chance to use them.
ingenta
ingenta
is a library gateway for searching a database of 11,000,000 citations from
20,000+ journals.>1985-present. Incorporating the former UnCover document delivery and Reveal
services, ingenta provides access to journal article citations, summaries, document
delivery, and selected full-text of over 25,000 journal titles in all subject areas.
Search Medline as well as the combined ingenta/UnCover collections. Former
UnCover users can log in and place orders using their previous UnCover profile ID and can continue to receive their UnCover Reveal Table of Contents
alerts. UTA students, faculty, and staff have access to selected full-text of journal
articles. Charges for document delivery are subsidized for UTA faculty.
One important point to remember though regarding the subsidizing, if the
individual article
costs more than $35.00, the faculty member must submit her/his credit card
information and pay for the article out of pocket.
If you would like some refresher information or explanation of this database, please contact
me.
Remember to contact me if you need library
instruction sessions arranged for your classes, research teams, etc.
