Computer accounts are now required to access the UTA Libraries
computers. Students,
faculty, and staff must activate their Windows NT Account.
Students and faculty/staff having difficulty activating their NT accounts can
request assistance from the Office of Information
Technology Help Desk within Sam's Click Cafe in the Central Library.
Non-UTA affiliated persons may obtain one day guest accounts at the OIT Help
Desk in the Central Library or at Information Service Desks in the Architecture and
Fine Arts Library and the Science and Engineering Library. Persons under
the age of 18 must have a signed Parental Consent Form. The guest
accounts expire at midnight of the same day.

Tech Books Online
2002-present. Updated monthly. Web access to full text of information technology
books from O'Reilly, Que, Sams, and others. All text can be searched with a
multi-book search engine, or specific titles can be selected for
chapter-by-chapter reading. Safari offers content in many categories, including
software how-to books, certification guides, database technology, Linux/Unix,
Macintosh, .NET, and Web administration and development. Requires
Adobe Acrobat
Reader.
Printing in the Library
A new print management system, called Pharos, has now been
installed in the UTA Libraries. Instructions for printing are provided at
each print release station.
Library books for faculty were due January 5, 2004. There are several ways to renew your library materials. Let us count the ways by visiting Renew Library materials. We make things easy! Avoid the hassels of overdue fines, just ask us and we'll help you renew those books.
