The printed reserve list
located at SEL's Circulation Desk is now available ONLINE!!
This list shows the book materials placed on reserve either by professors or
that are on permanent reserve. The books are listed by title, call number, loan
period and author. By clicking on the title, one can find out the status of the
book when away from the library. Many thanks to a combined effort from the
Circulation Staff.

of Knowledge
Web of Science is now called Web
of Knowledge. This contains several Institute for Scientific Information (ISI)
websites, including Science Citation Index Expanded.
Digital
Media Classroom
Located in room B29 in the Central
Library, the Digital Media Classroom (DMC) offers a self-service multimedia
production and training facility. Its purpose is to serve the needs of students,
faculty, and staff who wish use new media in teaching and research.
The DMC features Dell and Apple computers, scanners, and audio/visual equipment. Available software enables digital audio and video editing, graphic and animation creation, web site creation, animation, photo and image manipulation, and multimedia authoring. Course development software (WebCT) assistance is also available.
The DMC is open Monday through Friday 10am-4pm, with hours to be extended in Spring 2003. No reservation is required to use the facility, but persons needing consultation or training should contact classroom staff for an appointment at (817) 272-1345 or libraryweb@uta.edu.

Research@University of Texas - Arlington
Current
Research@University of Texas - Arlington (1997-present) contains UTA
theses and dissertations from Dissertations Abstracts. This database
allows users to search for citations (author, title, advisor, etc.) and
abstracts, view previews, and download the full text of UTA theses and
dissertations.

include my name and contact information on your print or online class syllabi,
to help them facilitate understanding the library resources and/or services.
Laptop
computers are available for UTA faculty, staff, and students to check out at the
Circulation Desk. The laptops are for use ONLY in the Library. They may
be borrowed for a three hour period and are available on a first-come
first-serve basis.
To
place items on reserve, you may use either the print or online course reserves
form. Allow approximately one week for reserve items to be processed. E-reserves
must comply with copyright policy.
