Get Password Archival data may go back as far as 1976. Updated throughout the year, some companies may report weekly. The database provides corporate linkage information on more than 170,000 of the most prominent parent companies and their affiliates. The database includes major public and private businesses in the United States and throughout the world. Information is compiled and updated from information supplied by the listed companies themselves, as well as from research gathered from business publications and annual reports. Company records may include all or some of the following data: net income and net worth, subsidiary relationships, assets and liabilities, percentage of ownership, number of employees, mailing address, years in business, phone and fax numbers, fiscal year-end, e-mail addresses, key personnel (names and titles), web site, Board of Directors, business description, investor relations information, SIC codes, counts of plants and showrooms, sales, outside legal firms, earnings, auditor, and stock information. Generally, public companies from the NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX exchanges are included. |

Technology Portal
This is the newly redesigned Technology Portal Web site from NASA, which serves as a hub for
virtually all technology related developments in which NASA is involved. The portal is continually
updated with news and event information, and a Streaming Media Center plays both live and
archived video from NASA TV. Visitors can browse technology features for commercial and
educational applications. A "Just for Kids" section has many resources for children, such as
multimedia activities and basic space concepts.

Einstein
Archives Online
"Caltech and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem have created a new Web site called Einstein Archives Online. The site makes available more
than 3,000 pages of the famed scientist's notes on research projects, lectures, and speeches, and includes personal papers and a diary Albert Einstein kept during the 1930s.
The online archive also features a searchable database that provides catalog information for 43,000 items written by or about Einstein. Site administrators hope that the site will
appeal to students and schoolteachers, as well as scientists and professors."

Distance
Learning: Do you plan on teaching a distance learning class during the
Fall semester? To help your students find research-related items more easily,
contact your subject
librarian to develop a webpage specifically tailored for course needs. It
can include links to individual articles for course readings, relevant webpages,
instructions for accessing online resources from your home, and more.
For that matter, I am available to conduct library instruction sessions for any of your classes or research groups. I am mobile, that is, I can come to your classroom or lab. I can also arrange for these sessions to be held in electronic classrooms in Nedderman Hall, Ransom Hall, or the Central Library. I would more than happy to help you help your students develop their research skills. I can generalize the session or customize it to a particular assignment. If interested for this semester or any future semester, please contact me.
