Engineering Village 2 (Compendex) Save records or receive search updates via e-mail alerts. See left side of homepage of EV2 under Personal account to register for this service
IEEE Xplore provides an email alerting service You may be surprised that IEEE's database is mentioned here for you MAE folks, but many of your students have found it to be valuable for their research.
IOP (Institute of Physics) Electronic Journals provides TOC alerting service enables you to receive the Tables of Contents of your favorite IOP journals as soon as issues are published online. IOP also allows you to keep a "filing cabinet" of online papers of interest to you & make notes online related to these papers.
Web of Knowledge (Science Citation Index) provides Email Alerts and Table of Contents Alerts.
1963-present (citations); 1996-present (full text). Updated
quarterly. Access to papers (approximately 4000/year) presented at
conferences of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics
and related societies. "Meeting Papers" section contains citations and
scanned images of actual documents; "Citations Database" contains
citations only to older papers. Full-text available in PDF can be viewed
using
Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Business
Knowledge Research
This database is geared more for the College of Business Faculty and
students, but researchers in other disciplines may find it useful.
1995-present. The Conference Board provides the researcher a searchable
database of full-text research reports on the latest issues in business
management and U.S. and global economics. Research information includes
studies of 500 companies on business trends, leadership decisions,
performance excellence, corporate governance, human resource management,
productivity, and more. Information is also provided on industry
overviews and forecasts, consumer demographics, economic statistics,
corporate management practices, and company financial data
Computer accounts are now required to
access the UTA Libraries
computers. Students,
faculty, and staff must activate their Windows NT Account.
Students and faculty/staff having difficulty activating their NT accounts can
request assistance from the Office of Information
Technology Help Desk within Sam's Click Cafe in the Central Library.
Non-UTA affiliated persons may obtain one day guest accounts at the OIT Help
Desk in the Central Library or at Information Service Desks in the
Architecture and Fine Arts Library and the Science and Engineering Library.
Persons under the age of 18 must have a signed Parental Consent Form.
The guest accounts expire at midnight of the same day.
