This year we return to the Hilton Arlington Hotel where they have just completed a complete renovations of their rooms and facilities. The hotel has spacious accommodations, including an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness center, room service, local area shuttle service, ATM, laundry facilities, elevators, gift shop, laundry services, multilingual staff, newsstand, safe deposit boxes, business center, and secretarial services. Dining options include an on-site restaurant, and a bar. Guest rooms feature telephones, voicemail, alarm clocks with mp3 compatibility, weekday newspapers, high-speed Internet access, cable TVs, movies on-demand, work desks, irons and ironing boards, coffeemakers, hairdryers, air conditioning, video games, dataports, and electronic door locks.
The hotel is locate 8 miles south of DFW International Airport and 5 miles from the University of Texas at Arlington campus. The hotel provides free parking as well as complimentary transportation to and from DFW International Airport seven days a week. Call the hotel for airport pick up upon your arrival at DFW. The hotel suggests that you call from your cell phone upon arrival at DFW and give that number to the operator for use in case of delays. In addition, the hotel, which is situated in the heart of the Arlington Entertainment district provides complimentary trolley service to nearby attractions.
A block of rooms has been reserved for Texas Map Society members for $85 plus 15% tax and a $0.90 assessment fee.
