Fun Fair

The annual Fun Fair at Central Library coincides with the University of Texas at Arlington's welcome week, called Maverick Stampede.

Part of the Libraries' mission includes connecting students to one another and to the University community to help ensure their success and cultivate a sense of belonging on campus.

Our Fun Fair features carnival-style games, such as a life-size Jenga game, arcade hoops, and more, plus music, food, and opportunities to win a variety of exciting prizes.

Students have reported that activities like "Speed Friending" have helped them connect with other students like them and as well as more comfortably meet people from different disciplines and backgrounds.
