Maker Literacies Leadership Change

My role is changing at UTA Libraries. Morgan Chivers and I have been leading the Maker Literacies program together for the last couple years, and now that we've developed and streamlined the program he is able to take on all the administrative responsibilities in addition to the phenomenal work on the ground with students in the FabLab. It took a few meetings and training sessions to get him started, whereas it would have taken me YEARS to accumulated the knowledge and expertise that he has in the FabLab. So it made sense to let go of this program so I can move on to other initiatives. My supervisor and I are in the process of working out what that will look like, but it will still be focused on curricular integration of library services and resources using experiential learning pedagogical methodologies. I'll update my title again once I have a new one!
