Day Family Research Lab

The UTA Libraries Day Family Research Lab (DFRL) is a hub of research support at UTA Libraries. The DFRL supports and partners with researchers through all aspects of the research cycle, from literature reviews to data management plans to digital dissemination, UTA library staff and campus partners are ready to support UTA’s R1 emergence through streamlined and comprehensive support.

The Day Family Research Lab on the 5th floor of the Central Library offers flexible presentation and workshop space as well as computing resources with specialized data-focused software to support UTA researcher needs. The expert staffs of the DFRL provides consultations and ongoing support relevant to individualized research projects and/or professional development needs.

Patent & Trademark Resource Center

Our United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) trained librarians are able to provide instruction on searching USPTO databases, help with general information about patents, trademarks, and copyrights, and provide information about application processes for patent and trademarks.
