Through the Research Mavs program, experienced students provide guidance, share research skills, and offer support to fellow students navigating the research process. This peer-to-peer collaboration is designed to enhance academic skills, promote knowledge-sharing, and create a supportive community within the Libraries and University.

What to Expect at Your Research Consultation
Arrival
Go to the Central Library, 3rd floor and locate your Research Mav in room 308.
Introduction
Meet your Research Mav.
Consultation
You and your Research Mav will discuss your assignment or research project and work on your specific questions and concerns. Consultations are typically 30 minutes long.
After Your Consultation
Your Research Mav will send you an email summarizing your session and include any databases or Library resources that you discussed.
Evaluation
You will be asked to complete a very brief survey.
