Prusa I3 MK3 MultiMaterial Unit
The Prusa I3 MultiMaterial Unit (MMU) is a high-quality 3D printer able to reliably produce objects down to 50 micron (0.05mm) resolution, using up to 5 different channels of filament. We utilize the PrusaSlicer application to generate the G-Code which learners upload to OctoPuppet units to then read and run the machine.
Filament is currently limited to PLA and water-soluble support - learners may bring their own PLA if they desire. All learner-supplied filament must be approved by staff before being used in the Prusa MMU.
