Open Collaborative Study

There are open spaces available for collaborative study in the Central Library, mainly on the 2nd and 3rd floors, but also in the 6th-floor atrium when there are no events scheduled.

Quiet Study

While collaborative study can often be productive, there are times when quiet study alone works best. That's why we've reserved the entire 4th and 5th floors of the Central Library for quiet study. Please respect the study needs of your fellow students.

Public Computers

PCs and Macs are available on floors 1-5 of the Central Library as well as in the Science & Engineering and West Campus libraries. See installed software and computer use policy.

Reserved Study Carrels

Study carrels are available for reservation by graduate students and McNair Scholars only. Please use the link below to make your reservation.

Study Rooms

If you're looking to reserve space for collaborative study, we have study rooms across the libraries that accommodate 2-10 people. They are variously equipped with study tables, whiteboards, SMART Boards, and LCD displays. NOTE: For your safety, please do not rearrange the study room furniture in a way that it blocks an exit. Additionally, please do not cover the windows.
