Description: Political cartoon by Etta Hulme. This cartoon appeared in the Fort Worth Star Telegram, Wednesday. The cartoon depicts five different quadrants with a cat and a dog. In the first quadrant there is a cat to the left with pop corn design and on his bowl reads, "Jimmy" and to the right there is a dog with a plaid design and on his bowl reads, "Ford." The Gingham dog and the Calico cat side by side on the table sat. The second quadrant says, "Debate #1" The Gingham dog went bow- wow-wow! The third quadrant reads, "Debate #2" And the Calico cat replied, "Mee-ow." The fourth quadrant reads, "Debate #3" the cat and dog are in a fight depicted by pieces of fabric in the air and it reads, "The air was littered an hour or so, with bits of gingham and calico.." and the last quadrant only the bowls are shown, and it reads, "The truth about the cat and pup is this: they ate each other"
