Political cartoon by Etta Hulme. This cartoon appeared in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Tuesday. This cartoon depicts four quadrants in which two elders are sitting across of each other. In the first quadrant the elder on the left says "everybody should give up a little extra something to conserve energy." In the second quadrant, the elder says "since we don't have a car, we can't cut down on gas" and the elder on the right says "we never warm up the dog food." In the third quadrant, the elder on the left says "we wan't turn down the heater any more... we'd freeze." In the last quadrant, the elder on the right says "how about giving up our hearing aid batteries?"
