Political cartoon by Etta Hulme. This cartoon appeared in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Tuesday. This cartoon depicts four quadrants in which a man is standing in front of a wall labeled "People's Republic of China Democracy Wall." He is talking to a soldier. In the first quadrant, the man asks "Hey, what happened to democracy wall?" and the soldier replies, "it has been removed from this location." In the second quadrant, the man asks, "you mean I am no longer permitted to write my opinions here?" and the soldier replies, "that is correct." In the third quadrant, the soldier says "however, some expression of opinion is still allowed here at democracy wall" and he continues in the third quadrant, "you may beat your head against it."
