This cartoon depicts two quadrants in which a woman can be seen telling things to her husband. She says, "I don’t know why you bother to make new years resolutions - you never manage to keep them more than two weeks." In the second quadrant he replies, "Well, this one fits right in with my behavioral pattern - I resolve not to pay over a dollar a gallon for gas in 1980."
