A sermon of war, preached at the Melodeon, on Sunday June 7, 1846: By Theodore Parker, Minister of the Twenty-Eighth Congregational Church in Boston.

Parker declares that war is a waste of life and property and a corrupter of public morals. He reviews the political and economic causes for the war with Mexico and calls for peace-loving peoples to refuse to participate in and actively work to oppose it.
