Notes of a Military Reconnoissance From Fort Leavenworth: Junction of the Gila and Colorado Rivers

A lithograph print of civilian artist John Mix Stanley's sketch of the Kearny expedition's encampment at the junction of the Gila and Colorado Rivers. Emory states that the junction cut a canyon (spelled cañon) through a butte and an old Spanish Church can be found on the northern side.
