Apuntes Para La Historia de la Guerra entre Mexico Y Los Estados-Unidos: Plano de la Ciudad de Tampico 1846

A lithograph map of the city of Tampico in 1846 from a Mexican perspective. The city is shown as a grid located between the laguna (lake) del Carpintero to the northeast and the branch of the rios (rivers) Tamesi and Panuco that flow from the southwest to the southeast. The map is annotated with the locations of forts, fortification walls, plazas, the military hospital, roads, markets, and churches in and around the city and the roads to Altamira and la Barra extend to the north.
