Apuntes Para La Historia de la Guerra entre Mexico Y Los Estados-Unidos: Croquis de la Batalla del Sacramento. Formado por el Señor General D. Pedro G. Conde

A lithograph map of the battle of Sacramento for General Don Pedro G. Conde from a Mexican perspective (the bottom portion of the map is partially trimmed). The battle of Sacramento took place on February 28, 1847 when Mexican forces encountered Doniphan and his Missouri Volunteers on their march toward Chihuahua in Northern Mexico. This topograpic map shows the elevations of the hilly landscape as well as the roads (caminos) that lead south toward Chihuahua as well as the hacienda del Torreon and Rancho del Dacramento located on the southern side of the Sacramento river. [This lithograph map is from the book "Apuntes Para La Historia de la Guerra entre Mexico Y Los Estados-Unidos" edited by Los Redactores and illustrated by Plácido Blanco, between pages 148 and 149]
