Apuntes Para La Historia de la Guerra entre Mexico Y Los Estados-Unidos: Croquis del Citio de Veracruz por las tropas de los E. U. [Estados Unidos]

A lithograph map of the locations of the American troops outside the city of Vera Cruz during the siege from a Mexican perspective. To the north is the Gulf of Mexico and the old Fuerte (fort) de San Juan de Ulloa which is located on an island across from the city of Vera Cruz. South of the city, past the Campo Santo, the American (E. U.) troops under Generals Twiggs, Worth, and Patterson maintained batteries on land that fired mortar rounds onto the city during the siege as well as a hospital for their wounded soldiers. [This lithograph map is from the book "Apuntes Para La Historia de la Guerra entre Mexico Y Los Estados-Unidos" edited by Los Redactores and illustrated by Plácido Blanco, between pages 154 and 155]
