Apuntes Para La Historia de la Guerra entre Mexico Y Los Estados-Unidos: General Scot [Scott]

A lithograph portrait of American military leader General Winfield Scott in military uniform. Scott led the operations for the blockade of the gulf of Mexico and the siege and bombardment of the city of Vera Cruz in March 1847 and led the march inland toward the city of Mexico. Scott played a major role in the organization of troops during the battles of Cerro Gordo, Contreras, Churubusco, Molino del Rey, and Chapultepec and he took control of the city of Mexico in Septemeber 1847.
