Lithograph portrait of Brigadier General Antonio Leon, who commanded the Oaxaca brigade of the Mexican National Guard at Cerro Gordo on April 18, 1847. He later commanded the National Guard Battalions of Libertad, Union, Queretaro and Mina on the Mexican left at the Battle of Molino del Rey on September 8, where he was mortally wounded.
