Memoir descriptive of the march of a Division of the United States Army: Interior View of the Church of the Alamo.

A lithograph print of an interior view of the church of the Alamo based upon a watercolor sketch by Sergeant Edward Everett of the First Illinois Volunteers. TThis image shows an inside view that looks toward the elaborate entrance and shows the dome of San Antonio's San Fernando church in the background. This image provides more details regarding the interior architecture that suggests arched and vaulted ceilings even though the roof of the building is no longer there. [This lithograph is from the book "Memoir Descriptive of the march of a division of the United States Army, under the command of Brigadier General John E. Wool, from San Antonio de Bexas, in Texas, to Saltillo, Mexio" by George W. Hughes]. Everett's original sketch is now in the Amon Carter Museum in Fort Worth.
