A lithograph print of Mission San Jose near San Antonio de Bexar based upon a watercolor sketch drawn by Sergeant Edward Everett of the First Illinois Volunteers. This image shows a rectangular building that includes a domed ceiling room, a bell tower, and an elaborately carved facade with statues of religious figures and crosses. [This lithograph is from the book "Memoir Descriptive of the march of a division of the United States Army, under the command of Brigadier General John E. Wool, from San Antonio de Bexas, in Texas, to Saltillo, Mexio" by George W. Hughes] Everett's original sketch is now in the Amon Carter Museum in Fort Worth.
