Experiential Learning
Our goal is to establish national standards for incorporating maker literacies into cross-disciplinary, hands-on learning experiences.
FEATURED CURRICULUM

"I have developed significantly as a teacher. My students now have access to ways of making knowledge they would not otherwise access and which makes them better thinkers. I reckon Amy and Ellie will let do this sort of thing…"
--Stephen Crowley, Boise State University

The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) supports national leadership grants for libraries that enhance the quality of library and archive services nationwide by advancing theory and practice. The initial IMLS planning grant we received is allowing us to further test our emerging set of maker competencies with diverse college and university partners. We then plan to pursue an implementation grant to support broad dissemination and adaptation of the framework. Learn more about the planning grant.
